Look Beauty 'Cool Britannia' Nail Pop!

In just over an hour the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony will be reviled to the World, so it only seems right to mention this beautiful Limited Edition nail polish aptly named 'Cool Britannia'.

This gorgeous polish is packed with red, white and blue glitter. I'm not usually a huge fan of glitter polish as it can often look tacky but this patriotic glitter is so fine, it's very subtle yet glamorous, amazingly you only need one coat for full coverage of the nail. I think it gives a beautiful effect.

This limited edition nail polish is available on the Look Beauty website and at selected Superdrug stores for only £5.

Wonderful Hair Cold Fusion Extensions

A month ago I had extentions done by Nicki at The Vanity Beauty Academy in Hitchin.
My friend Nicki was trained by Wonderful Hair, created by Nev, celebrity hairstylist and business partner of Lauren Goodger. Nev is the man behind Lauren’s gorgeous long glamorous hair, as well as some of the other TOWIE girls.
Me and Nev at the Lauren's Way Press Launch

Wonderful Hair use only the Cold Fusion technique. This technique uses no heat or glue, eliminating any damage to your natural hair.
Instead the 100% human Remy hair from Italy is attached with tiny keratin hoops and lasered to the natural hair. The whole process from putting in the extensions to cutting and styling took Nicki only 2 hours.

The colour match is absolutely perfect, Nicki chose two different colours due to the highlights in my hair.

The only down side is the maintenance, if the hair isn’t treated with a deep conditioning treatment 1-2 times a week, it can dry out. The hair can also tangle quite a lot, but if you do use a good treatment and use a Tangle Teezer on it, then the exentions should last 3 – 4 months.

I feel so much better about myself with my gorgeous new hair! I highly recommend Wonderful Hair Extensions!

MUA Undressed Palette

We’ve all heard of the Urban Decay Naked Palette, while some of you have it and probably love it like I do, some maybe have been holding back due to the hefty price tag of £32. If that is the case, take a look at the MUA Undressed palette, it's a fantastic dupe for the Naked and at only £4 it is an absolute bargain!

I have mentioned MUA quite a bit in the last 6 months, I think it’s one of the best affordable cosmetic ranges on the market at the moment. Mainly due to the eyeshadow palettes, I have Dusk Til Dawn and the Pretty Pastels palettes. The Undressed palette is definitely my favourite in the range.
The pigmentation is very good and long lasting on the skin. I wear three of the more natural shades for work and by the end of the day the colour is still strong.
As with the Naked you can create a natural look or a more glam smokey eye with the Creep and Gunmental dupes.

My favourite shade in the Naked is Half Baked, and the Undressed equivalent is just as gold and gorgeous.
The only downside to this palette is the packaging. For only £4, I don’t expect stylish, sturdy packaging. However my real bugbear is the black coating on the plastic lid. It melts to the touch and rubs off on your fingers, not what you want while you’re applying your makeup!

Not a good look!

MUA if you could just sort out this packaging issue I’d give this product 5 stars out of 5, so at the moment it’s getting 4!
